Sugar Rush to Benefit Care to Learn

Here's a chance to get your sweet on and help raise money for local kids.
Students in the Students in Free Enterprise program at Drury University, The Cake Pop Company and more than two dozen local businesses are hosting the 2nd annual Sugar Rush tonight.
It's a veritable dessert smorgasbord, raising money for the Care to Learn program. It will be held at The O'Reilly Family Event Center at Drury University from 6-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011.
KOZL's Mike Corcoran is live this morning at Elle's Patisserie at 1454 East Cherry to sample some of the dishes and talk about the event. Watch the attached video to see our interview with Sarah Montgomery, the director of the Drury SIFE team.

Chocolate Biscuit Cake

The chocolate English biscuit cake is said to be one of the prince's favorite childhood desserts. Local chocolatier Elle Feldman showed Maria Neider how to make the no-bake confection on Ozarks Today this morning. The recipe posted below is from Princess Diana's chef.
