Welcome to Elle's Place

Elle’s Patisserie now has a storefront, and new menu items to tempt your sweet tooth

You may already be familiar with Elle Feldman and her business, Elle’s Patisserie. She makes delightful truffles in delightful flavors. This month, the business opens up its first storefront, in a cute spot on Cherry Street in Springfield.

Pretty in Purple: This sweet little storefront is a doorway to delectable Elle’s Patisserie treats.

So what will you find at the brick-and-mortar Elle’s Patisserie? For starters, Feldman is still serving her delicious truffles, like the decadent salted caramels and the fun-and-adorable lemon daisies. But she has also added French press coffee, pastries (like croissants, chocolate croissants and morning buns) and homemade chocolate-covered marshmallows. Those are a real kid-pleaser. “I’ve been doing a lot of chocolate-covered marshmallows instead of cupcakes for kids’ birthday parties,” she says. The marshmallows come in a variety of flavors that change with the seasons. Look for vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lavender, blueberry, lemon, mint and more, depending on what ingredients are available.

Although Elle’s Patisserie opened for the first time on Valentine’s Day weekend, the store’s permanent opening is happening this month. The shop’s hours for now are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., but look for extended hours in a few months. Right now, Elle’s Patisserie is a take-out spot, but Feldman has plans to add seating soon.
